A pretty reasonable day to work. We had the pleasure of working at Secrest Arboretum last week coring European Larch some planted in 1909 CE. This is the third site collected from Secrest by the Wooster Tree Ring Lab.
Obtaining high quality cores for ring-width and blue intensity chronologies.
Looks like fun – not work – the work will begin in the lab.
Having your stand of trees labeled is handy especially for geologists.
Really Matt – are you standing on the extractor?
